Waltz needs no introduction.  It is the timeless standard of elegance.  Unmistakable in its movement and posture, the Waltz exudes an elevated floating feeling that leaves both the dancer and spectators in the clouds.

Waltz is mostly danced in Ballroom scenes as part of the socials and competitions. It does not have its own dedicated community.

Within the Ballroom world, it is usually taught as the first dance, because of its name recognition and the fundamentals that come with it.
